Up early to have breakfast with more of that fresh squeezed orange juice. Weather is still dark but minimal rain so we’ll take it. David has now relearned how to take the metro. It is surprisingly different than the last times using paper maps. Now he uses an app and we used a bus to get to the metro. It took 17 stops to get to the Eiffel Tower so I assume that means we are on the other side of the city from it. This time we are staying near the main train station. The metro is an adventure at morning rush hour..

We didn’t pre buy Eiffel tickets but we still got them after standing in a short line. That wouldn’t happen on a nice summer day. We enjoyed looking at the city from there. We then went to eat in a side cafe before going on a river cruise. A fun way to see the sites without having to be in the middle of the traffic.

We hadn’t had a crepe yet so we stopped in for one on our way back to the hotel, of course we ate at another sidewalk cafe. We just love eating outside on the sidewalk even on a cool day. Back to do a load of laundry but the machines were all full so a quick nap instead.

1 more full day in Paris and a full day it will be so already pre packing to be ready to leave early Thursday.
